Windows 11 Vs Windows 10: Which Version Is Best For You?

Windows 11 features a new design with a centered Start menu and Taskbar. Windows 11 brings a brand new, more Mac-like interface to the OS.

Windows 11 Vs Windows 10

The design of Windows has changed radically. Windows 10 for the home is much more of a Mac-like experience with a centrally located Start button and taskbar.

The Start button is surrounded by a simple taskbar that shows your Home, apps, documents, and apps that you have recently opened.

The changes in design have been a very welcome addition to many, but many have said that the new design could be a bit hard to use.

Windows 11 also includes many new features to help make using the OS easier. New Search The search function in Windows has been refreshed.

The search now uses natural language to automatically understand what you are typing. You can also look up information about individual words.

New Settings menu The Settings menu has also seen a radical change.

New Windows 11 Features

Windows 11 runs on the same 12 CPUs, and the same built-in peripherals as the mouse and keyboard.

Windows 10 can run on just about any modern Intel processor, including the new, AMD EPYC, which can reportedly be paired with dual-core i5 or i7 CPUs, and even older Intel Atom processors.

PC owners with only a 500 MHz processor, an AMD Sempron 2650, or Intel Celeron will no longer be able to run Windows 10.

It has also been said that Windows 10 will run on Intel and AMD GPUs at 4.3 and 6.3, respectively, which is great for desktop gamers, though not great for power users.

Windows 10 has 32-bit compatibility through the 32-bit drivers. Windows 11 does not have 32-bit compatibility. More Updates and Security Features It is unclear if Windows 10 was up to date.

What is Windows 10

On paper, Windows 10 is the better version. In practice, it doesn’t feel that way. While Windows 10 was popular because it fixed nearly every gripe the last version of Windows had.

New users had it easy. Traditional users were able to use the Windows 7-style interface. New computers came with the Windows 10 upgrade and only had the harder problem of picking up the Windows 8.1 mode or dual-booting.

Windows 10 also allows you to choose to install apps on the drive you use most or a centralized location. If you really need apps on your main drive, you can always add them from a separate app store.

Windows 10 is great for gaming and actually allows you to install Steam if you want. It also improves the design of the PC and feels closer to a MacBook in the process.

What is Windows 11

On August 29th, 2017, Microsoft released Windows 11 for PCs, which is also available for a full line of Windows Phones, mobile tablets, and notebooks. Windows 10 was launched in 2015.

While the two operating systems are called Windows 11, they are compatible with each other. Windows 10 Has A Start Menu, But Windows 11 Does Not In Windows 10, you can right-click the Start button to access a list of functions and preferences. Clicking it again also takes you to the Windows 10 taskbar.

You can use the Windows 10 search bar to locate applications or settings for them. To set up the Start menu and taskbar to look like Windows 7, 8, or 8.1, you can go to Control Panel > System > Display.

Conclusion

Microsoft has been very focused on compatibility with Windows 7. They have focused on optimizing the existing Windows 8.1 updates to make them smoother and faster for most users.

Windows 10 is a service, meaning it will be regularly updated with not only fixes but new features as well. While this is not exactly true, Microsoft has indicated that the next major update, Redstone 2, will likely release this year.

This update will introduce a more Mac-like user interface to the OS, along with some new features. After examining the OS, it's clear to see that Windows 10 has the edge for many users.

And while Windows 7 still performs better for most users, Windows 10 is an excellent operating system for the average user.

For business users, both operating systems will be appropriate.
